Looking for alarm response in Black Dog? IGI Security Services provides licensed, professional cover throughout South West — day, night, weekends and at short notice.
Alarm response in Black Dog — when your intruder or fire alarm activates, our officer attends, checks the premises, and secures the site.
In Black Dog, our alarm response sits within a complete mobile security offering, so cover can scale up or down as your needs change. Mobile security uses SIA-licensed officers in marked vehicles to patrol your premises, respond to alarm activations and carry out lock/unlock duties. It gives you a professional security presence without the cost of a full-time static guard.
Local knowledge matters. Our officers work regularly across Black Dog and South West, so they understand the area's layout, its busy periods and the kinds of incidents that occur — and that shapes how we plan your alarm response.
Our Black Dog clients range from independent businesses to national organisations. Sites that don't need round-the-clock manning — trade counters, offices, schools, retail parks, compounds and multi-site portfolios — get strong protection at a fraction of static-guard cost.
Tell us what you need in Black Dog. We assess the premises, risks and hours to agree the right cover — with no obligation.
You get a clear, no-surprises quote and assignment instructions in writing before anything starts.
SIA-licensed, BS 7858-vetted officers are matched to your site and briefed on your exact requirements.
A named contact, monitored sign-in and regular reporting keep your Black Dog cover running smoothly, with the flexibility to adjust.
SIA licensing isn't optional, and we treat it that way. Each officer working on your Black Dog assignment carries a current, correct SIA licence for the role, and we can evidence it on request.
Trust starts with vetting. Before an officer works in Black Dog, we screen them to BS 7858: confirming who they are, their right to work, and a verified employment and character history.
Our Black Dog cover runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Need officers at short notice? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll mobilise as fast as we safely can.
When something happens, speed matters. We prioritise urgent and short-notice requests in Black Dog, mobilising licensed officers quickly to secure your premises, people or event.
Whether uniformed and highly visible or low-key and discreet, our Black Dog officers look and act the part — because how security carries itself changes how people behave around it.
You'll always know what's happening on your Black Dog site. Shift reports, incident logs and monitored sign-in give you a complete, insurer-ready record of the service.
Our Black Dog teams use the right tools for the job: real-time sign-in and check-calls, GPS patrol logging, body-worn video where appropriate, and integration with any CCTV or alarms you already have.
Your peace of mind is covered — literally. We hold comprehensive liability insurance for all our Black Dog work and can provide evidence on request.
A typical Black Dog assignment might start with a call on WhatsApp, a same-day site visit, and a licensed officer on shift within days — sometimes hours for urgent work. From there, cover settles into an agreed rota with regular reporting, adjusted whenever your needs change.
The cost of alarm response in Black Dog depends on the hours, the number of officers, the site and the level of risk — so we quote each job individually rather than quoting a misleading headline rate. Send us the details on WhatsApp and you'll get a clear, no-obligation price.
Every officer holds a valid SIA licence and is vetted to BS 7858 — the recognised standard for security staff.

Not sure whether alarm response is the right choice for your Black Dog site? We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a mobile patrol or monitored CCTV does the job at lower cost than a static officer — and sometimes only a full-time presence will do. We recommend what actually fits, not what's most expensive.
Security is also a duty of care. Our Black Dog officers are trained to de-escalate conflict, follow lawful procedures, and put the safety of your staff, visitors and the public first — protecting your business from liability as well as loss.
