CCTV monitoring in The Cylinders — trained operators watching your cameras in real time, challenging intruders and dispatching a response.
In The Cylinders, our cctv monitoring sits within a complete cctv security offering, so cover can scale up or down as your needs change. CCTV security covers the design, installation and monitoring of camera systems. Remote monitoring adds trained operators who watch live footage, challenge intruders over audio and dispatch a response — turning cameras from a record into a real-time deterrent.
The Cylinders has its own security picture — the mix of premises, footfall and risk across South East isn't the same as anywhere else. We deploy officers who understand the area and tailor cctv monitoring to what your The Cylinders site actually needs, rather than a generic template.
Our The Cylinders clients range from independent businesses to national organisations. Businesses, construction sites, vacant properties, retailers and homes use CCTV to deter crime, gather evidence and — with monitoring — get an active response the moment something happens.
Tell us what you need in The Cylinders. We assess the premises, risks and hours to agree the right cover — with no obligation.
You get a clear, no-surprises quote and assignment instructions in writing before anything starts.
SIA-licensed, BS 7858-vetted officers are matched to your site and briefed on your exact requirements.
A named contact, monitored sign-in and regular reporting keep your The Cylinders cover running smoothly, with the flexibility to adjust.
Every officer we send to The Cylinders holds a valid licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the UK regulator for private security. SIA licensing is a legal requirement for security work — and we never deploy an unlicensed officer, whatever the pressure or timescale.
Our officers are screened to BS 7858 — the British Standard for vetting security personnel. That means identity, right-to-work, employment history and character are properly checked before anyone sets foot on your The Cylinders site.
Security doesn't keep office hours, and neither do we. Cover in The Cylinders is available day and night, all year round, with someone real answering every call and message.
Our The Cylinders response is built for urgency: a real person answers, we confirm what we can deploy and how quickly, and we get officers moving without the usual delays.
Whether uniformed and highly visible or low-key and discreet, our The Cylinders officers look and act the part — because how security carries itself changes how people behave around it.
You'll always know what's happening on your The Cylinders site. Shift reports, incident logs and monitored sign-in give you a complete, insurer-ready record of the service.
Our The Cylinders teams use the right tools for the job: real-time sign-in and check-calls, GPS patrol logging, body-worn video where appropriate, and integration with any CCTV or alarms you already have.
Full insurance is a baseline, not an extra. Our The Cylinders cover is backed by public and employer's liability insurance, with documentation available whenever you need it for a tender or contract.
A typical The Cylinders assignment might start with a call on WhatsApp, a same-day site visit, and a licensed officer on shift within days — sometimes hours for urgent work. From there, cover settles into an agreed rota with regular reporting, adjusted whenever your needs change.
We keep pricing straightforward. Your The Cylinders quote reflects the actual hours, officer numbers and requirements of the job — nothing hidden. Message us and we'll price it properly, usually the same day.
Every officer holds a valid SIA licence and is vetted to BS 7858 — the recognised standard for security staff.

Not sure whether cctv monitoring is the right choice for your The Cylinders site? We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a mobile patrol or monitored CCTV does the job at lower cost than a static officer — and sometimes only a full-time presence will do. We recommend what actually fits, not what's most expensive.
Doing security properly means doing it safely and lawfully. In The Cylinders our officers work within the law on searches, refusals and reasonable force, are conflict-management trained, and prioritise everyone's safety on site.
