Professional crowd control in Shortlands — from a single shift to fully managed, permanent cover, delivered by SIA-licensed officers who know South East London.
Crowd control in Shortlands — firm, lawful management of crowd behaviour at busy or high-energy events, keeping everyone safe.
In Shortlands, our crowd control sits within a complete event security offering, so cover can scale up or down as your needs change. Event security covers everything from SIA door supervision on licensed premises to stewarding, crowd management, bag searches and VIP protection at events of any size. Teams are briefed to your venue, licence conditions and crowd profile.
Every location carries different risks, and Shortlands is no exception. Whether you're protecting a business, a site, an event or a person in South East London, our crowd control is planned around the local environment, response routes and the specific threats you face here.
Our Shortlands clients range from independent businesses to national organisations. Pubs, bars, nightclubs, festivals, concerts, stadiums, weddings, conferences, exhibitions and private parties all need licensed, properly briefed security to keep guests safe and stay compliant with their premises licence.

SIA-licensed, BS 7858-vetted officers are matched to your site and briefed on your exact requirements.
A named contact, monitored sign-in and regular reporting keep your Shortlands cover running smoothly, with the flexibility to adjust.
You should never accept an unlicensed guard. Every member of our Shortlands teams is licensed by the Security Industry Authority for the work they do, so your cover is lawful and your insurer is satisfied.
The people protecting your Shortlands premises are thoroughly vetted to BS 7858, so you can be confident in who's on site — not just that they hold a licence, but that they've been properly background-checked.

Our Shortlands response is built for urgency: a real person answers, we confirm what we can deploy and how quickly, and we get officers moving without the usual delays.
Whether uniformed and highly visible or low-key and discreet, our Shortlands officers look and act the part — because how security carries itself changes how people behave around it.
You'll always know what's happening on your Shortlands site. Shift reports, incident logs and monitored sign-in give you a complete, insurer-ready record of the service.
Our Shortlands teams use the right tools for the job: real-time sign-in and check-calls, GPS patrol logging, body-worn video where appropriate, and integration with any CCTV or alarms you already have.
We carry comprehensive public and employer's liability insurance, so your Shortlands business is protected. Certificates are available on request, and our procedures are documented for audit.
A typical Shortlands assignment might start with a call on WhatsApp, a same-day site visit, and a licensed officer on shift within days — sometimes hours for urgent work. From there, cover settles into an agreed rota with regular reporting, adjusted whenever your needs change.
We keep pricing straightforward. Your Shortlands quote reflects the actual hours, officer numbers and requirements of the job — nothing hidden. Message us and we'll price it properly, usually the same day.

Not sure whether crowd control is the right choice for your Shortlands site? We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a mobile patrol or monitored CCTV does the job at lower cost than a static officer — and sometimes only a full-time presence will do. We recommend what actually fits, not what's most expensive.
