Professional out of hours security in Shortlands — from a single shift to fully managed, permanent cover, delivered by SIA-licensed officers who know South East London.
Out of hours security in Shortlands covers evenings, nights, weekends and holidays — the times your premises are most exposed.
In Shortlands, our out of hours security sits within a complete mobile security offering, so cover can scale up or down as your needs change. Mobile security uses SIA-licensed officers in marked vehicles to patrol your premises, respond to alarm activations and carry out lock/unlock duties. It gives you a professional security presence without the cost of a full-time static guard.
Every location carries different risks, and Shortlands is no exception. Whether you're protecting a business, a site, an event or a person in South East London, our out of hours security is planned around the local environment, response routes and the specific threats you face here.
Our Shortlands clients range from independent businesses to national organisations. Sites that don't need round-the-clock manning — trade counters, offices, schools, retail parks, compounds and multi-site portfolios — get strong protection at a fraction of static-guard cost.
Tell us what you need in Shortlands. We assess the premises, risks and hours to agree the right cover — with no obligation.
You get a clear, no-surprises quote and assignment instructions in writing before anything starts.
SIA-licensed, BS 7858-vetted officers are matched to your site and briefed on your exact requirements.
A named contact, monitored sign-in and regular reporting keep your Shortlands cover running smoothly, with the flexibility to adjust.
Every officer we send to Shortlands holds a valid licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the UK regulator for private security. SIA licensing is a legal requirement for security work — and we never deploy an unlicensed officer, whatever the pressure or timescale.
Our officers are screened to BS 7858 — the British Standard for vetting security personnel. That means identity, right-to-work, employment history and character are properly checked before anyone sets foot on your Shortlands site.
Our Shortlands cover runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Need officers at short notice? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll mobilise as fast as we safely can.
When something happens, speed matters. We prioritise urgent and short-notice requests in Shortlands, mobilising licensed officers quickly to secure your premises, people or event.
Whether uniformed and highly visible or low-key and discreet, our Shortlands officers look and act the part — because how security carries itself changes how people behave around it.
You'll always know what's happening on your Shortlands site. Shift reports, incident logs and monitored sign-in give you a complete, insurer-ready record of the service.
Our Shortlands teams use the right tools for the job: real-time sign-in and check-calls, GPS patrol logging, body-worn video where appropriate, and integration with any CCTV or alarms you already have.
Full insurance is a baseline, not an extra. Our Shortlands cover is backed by public and employer's liability insurance, with documentation available whenever you need it for a tender or contract.
A typical Shortlands assignment might start with a call on WhatsApp, a same-day site visit, and a licensed officer on shift within days — sometimes hours for urgent work. From there, cover settles into an agreed rota with regular reporting, adjusted whenever your needs change.
The cost of out of hours security in Shortlands depends on the hours, the number of officers, the site and the level of risk — so we quote each job individually rather than quoting a misleading headline rate. Send us the details on WhatsApp and you'll get a clear, no-obligation price.

Not sure whether out of hours security is the right choice for your Shortlands site? We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a mobile patrol or monitored CCTV does the job at lower cost than a static officer — and sometimes only a full-time presence will do. We recommend what actually fits, not what's most expensive.
