Perimeter CCTV in Shortlands — boundary-focused camera coverage that detects intruders before they reach your buildings.
In Shortlands, our perimeter cctv sits within a complete cctv security offering, so cover can scale up or down as your needs change. CCTV security covers the design, installation and monitoring of camera systems. Remote monitoring adds trained operators who watch live footage, challenge intruders over audio and dispatch a response — turning cameras from a record into a real-time deterrent.
Shortlands has its own security picture — the mix of premises, footfall and risk across South East London isn't the same as anywhere else. We deploy officers who understand the area and tailor perimeter cctv to what your Shortlands site actually needs, rather than a generic template.
Our Shortlands clients range from independent businesses to national organisations. Businesses, construction sites, vacant properties, retailers and homes use CCTV to deter crime, gather evidence and — with monitoring — get an active response the moment something happens.
Tell us what you need in Shortlands. We assess the premises, risks and hours to agree the right cover — with no obligation.
You get a clear, no-surprises quote and assignment instructions in writing before anything starts.
SIA-licensed, BS 7858-vetted officers are matched to your site and briefed on your exact requirements.
A named contact, monitored sign-in and regular reporting keep your Shortlands cover running smoothly, with the flexibility to adjust.
SIA licensing isn't optional, and we treat it that way. Each officer working on your Shortlands assignment carries a current, correct SIA licence for the role, and we can evidence it on request.
Trust starts with vetting. Before an officer works in Shortlands, we screen them to BS 7858: confirming who they are, their right to work, and a verified employment and character history.
We operate around the clock in Shortlands. Whether it's a planned contract or an urgent same-day request, there's always a real person to answer, and we can often have a licensed officer with you quickly.
Emergencies don't wait, so we don't either. For short-notice cover in Shortlands — after an incident, a failed contract or a sudden threat — we move fast to get an officer on site.
Whether uniformed and highly visible or low-key and discreet, our Shortlands officers look and act the part — because how security carries itself changes how people behave around it.
You'll always know what's happening on your Shortlands site. Shift reports, incident logs and monitored sign-in give you a complete, insurer-ready record of the service.
Our Shortlands teams use the right tools for the job: real-time sign-in and check-calls, GPS patrol logging, body-worn video where appropriate, and integration with any CCTV or alarms you already have.
Your peace of mind is covered — literally. We hold comprehensive liability insurance for all our Shortlands work and can provide evidence on request.
A typical Shortlands assignment might start with a call on WhatsApp, a same-day site visit, and a licensed officer on shift within days — sometimes hours for urgent work. From there, cover settles into an agreed rota with regular reporting, adjusted whenever your needs change.
There's no one-size-fits-all price for perimeter cctv in Shortlands: a single event shift costs very differently to 24/7 permanent cover. Tell us what you need and we'll come back with an honest, fixed quote for the work described.

Not sure whether perimeter cctv is the right choice for your Shortlands site? We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a mobile patrol or monitored CCTV does the job at lower cost than a static officer — and sometimes only a full-time presence will do. We recommend what actually fits, not what's most expensive.
Doing security properly means doing it safely and lawfully. In Shortlands our officers work within the law on searches, refusals and reasonable force, are conflict-management trained, and prioritise everyone's safety on site.
